A powerful original play exploring the untold stories of Black women — their grief, resilience, joy and identity. Devised by Cherrill Hutchinson, the debut production was funded by Arts Council England and captivated audiences across London with raw, honest storytelling. Now in its fourth production year, the May 2026 performance marks a significant milestone in UNS's growing legacy as a platform for authentic Black women's narratives.

VOICES IN HARMONY
Anthology & Creative Expression
Published in 2024, Voices in Harmony is an anthology of cultural and collective expression from 22 women contributors across Redbridge. Far more than a book — it brought women together and created a true sisterhood through shared life experiences, storytelling, poetry and recipes. A celebration of heritage, identity and community that above all, created a lasting legacy.
